DJ Shaikh | Documentary Short

Dalo Deka loves to tell important stories in style. In a profile piece for Baltimore Magazine, we designed a hybrid music video-documentary that highlighted a Baltimore based DJ named Raven Shaikh. He creates his own music and is just starting to hit the turntables at local watering holes. Through video, we told Raven’s unique story in a way never seen before.

Crevasse | Short Film

In addition to documentary, Dalo Deka has found success in the scripted space, producing a Short Film that premiered at the Maryland Film Festival ‘22 as an honorable mention and digitally premiered on Film Shortage as a Daily Pick. We were thrilled to make the film and then see its success in traditional and modern mediums.

Crevasse’s Premise: After a civilization lost to time is discovered on Earth, a group of world leaders must deliberate and decide the fate of its people.

The Cliff | Feature Documentary

We’re in it for the long game. When tasked with amazing access and an untold story, we jumped at the chance to produce this feature documentary. The story follows a group of neurodiverse young adults navigating their high school graduation. Parents refer to this event as: The Cliff. After high school, funding, government support, and social groups drop off as these young adults plummet into the uncharted world of adult care services. These young folks and their families navigate different aspects of this right of passage with joy, sadness, fear, and most importantly: hope. The film has been shown at numerous conferences and public events linked to the disabilities community and we’re always proud to see it connect with an audience.

ESPNU: UMD Gameday Traditions | Digital Junket

We jump at challenges when big names come knocking, including the likes of ESPNU. In partnership with their Campus Connection program, we created a digital junket of traditions enjoyed by Terps and other fans of the University of Maryland football team.
